curve radius and gangway flex in the current 60 foot new tech cars. The consist used for testing was 8269-8272. The majority of the equipment was installed on 8271 whereas a secondary piece of equipment was installed in the gangway of 8270 so the flex could be measured. 8269 and 8272 were solely for operating and had no equipment installed. Some of the locations this train went were places you don't normally see an R143 set, such as Coney Island, Queensboro Plaza, and City Hall!
