Irish Rail's brand new weed spraying vehicle, MPV number 790, makes it's very first trip across the disused South Wexford line which closed in 2010. Sadly this machine has replaced the loco hauled wee

d sprayer and is nowhere near as interesting as the old one, but things change sadly.
0:00 - 1:01, as per usual we start off at Rosslare Strand where we see MPV 790 making it's way onto the disused line as it heads towards Waterford.
1:01 - 1:37, next we head to what's left of the former Killinick station, there are more weeds here since my previous visit.
1:37 - 3:10, next we head to Bridgetown crossing where we see MPV 790's crew opening and closing the manual gated crossing, the train had to stop at every single crossing along the line.
3:10 - 3:58, having cleared Bridgetown we see it again at Newhouse, Co. Wexford as it continues towards Wellingtonbridge.
3:58 - 4:27, Next we see it again, this time passing Rathangan, Co. Wexford.
4:27 - 5:29, next we see it again this time at Nicharee Gates, Co. Wexford.
5:29 - 6:02, Bellgrove, Duncormick, Co. Wexford.
6:02 - 7:44, Kilcavan Gates, Co. Wexford.
7:44 - 8:14, Wellingtonbridge Station.
8:14 - 8:48, Ballycullane Station.
8:48 - 9:39, And finally to finish the day off we went to a brand new location this time on the Belview Port line at Gyles Quay, Co. Kilkenny where we see MPV 790 passing as it makes it's final approach into Waterford.
Apologies about the shaky camerawork in parts, my main camcorder screen is broken at present so had to use the Sony A7S for shots, sadly this camera doesn't have image stabilization.
