present day generation of Pan-ayanon. This ritual is a thanksgiving ritual to celebrate their harvest and to appease the spirits around them. It is also a form of family gathering where a feast is shared by the family. The babaylan or shaman usually performs the ritual though it can also be performed by the head of the family. The cultural heritage of the Pan-ayanon Bukidnon of Capiz is truly a treasure to be preserved.
