rris Park Storage Track using the on duty protect engine ("Heritage" SW1001 #102). With Harold Interlocking at it's maximum capacity during rush hour, the only way to get the set to Hillside/Morris Park was via the Lower Montauk. Because NYAR now controls the branch, permission had to be granted from NYAR (New York & Atlantic). At first the crews of the move had permission from which they proceeded down to BLISS. Once at BLISS, NYAR decided to cancel the permission whiched forced LIRR to make a reverse move back to Long Island City Yard and return the protect engine back to the fuel pad. The move was then performed later that night. (Taken 4/9/13)
