But at least ONE gonzo 1970s family-friendly collaboration between Toho Studios and Tsuburaya Productions was so uniquely strange (and so puzzling to audiences) - featuring a melancholy orphaned dinosaur-hippo hero, a lumpy blue space-lizard supposedly subbing for an unavailable Godzilla, a Kaiju-sized outhouse(!) and a weirdly downbeat plot all about government austerity and environmental messaging - that they've STILL never released it outside Japan! Let Schlocktober introduce you to "DAIGORO VS GOLIATH!"
