I was always pretty proud of this. Lisa Miller produced this; my sister Mary wrote the lyrics and she did the three voices (in a recording studio in Chicago). We hired three Cincy actresses, a JetRang

er helicopter (Channel 9's, as I recall!), and a film crew with a door- mounted SteadiCam. I recall it felt DAMN high at the edge of that building; I am laying face-down at the very edge of the roof, out of sight with a walkie-talkie, giving instructions to the film crew in the chopper. We (WKRC) arranged with our then-owner, Great American, (who also owned the Chiquita Building) to project lights colored with filtered gels onto the four white sides of fhe top of the building "predicting" the coming weather. I also recall it was a nice launch for Tim Hedrick. I still however CRINGE when I hear "New 1-2!" More trivia: my son Jason is doing the "Extra" voice-over and is the paperboy; current Columbus-area TV anchor Tracy Townsend, then my assistant, is wearing a hat in the first few seconds (as am I, with the mustache), and WKRC Sales maven Nils Kahlson is the other adult.
