His father was a well-known and respected Rev of COGIG Pentecostal grandfather, regardless of his own beliefs and practice, told uncle Luther ( Boots) to go and be the best he could be, that was cool for a Rev to say."

I (Mark) saw these guys in 1974 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. It cost us a can of food and a one dollar bill to get in. They played "hold on" for about 45 minutes!! Great Band , Great show at a great price!
