d shows. He was so funny, I just have all these childhood memories of him, him and Jimi use to hang at my parents house, there are pics of Luther and Jimi teasing me with candy. His father was a well-known and respected Rev of COGIG Pentecostal grandfather, regardless of his own beliefs and practice, told uncle Luther ( Boots) to go and be the best he could be, that was cool for a Rev to say."

I (Mark) saw these guys in 1974 at the Paramount Theatre in Seattle. It cost us a can of food and a one dollar bill to get in. They played "hold on" for about 45 minutes!! Great Band , Great show at a great price!
