age of 70, his voice was strong and versatile. His mind sharp and his sense of humor was engaging as shown when he brings the audience into his performance. "Mission Bell" to date has sold over 8,000,000 copies! This earned Donnie his first of Three Gold records. His follow up hit was "Doll House" with 5,000,000 copies. It was then followed by "Memphis" with 2,500,000 copies. His appearances on Dick Clark's Bandstand brought him to the attention of the world and movie producers. Donnie appeared in three motion pictures: "A Swingin' Summer" with Raquel Welch, "Get Yourself A College Girl" with Nancy Sinatra, and "The Love-ins" starring James McArthur. The Badist Oldies with permission, videotaped the performance at Sherman Indian High in February 2006, which may have been his last as he passed in 2007. But true of all music greats, Donnie's music will live on forever.
