1st First Annual Ig Nobel Prize Ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, September 9th, 2021 at 6 PM US eastern time. It will introduce ten new Ig Nobel Prize winners, each of which has done something that makes people laugh then think. Winners travel (virtually, in this Covid-19 pandemic year) from around the world to receive their prize from a group of genuine, genuinely bemused Nobel Laureates.
