Former Fresno Pacific basketball player/coach Ron Adams was inducted into the FPU Athletic Hall of Fame in September 2011. Adams, now an assistant coach with the Chicago Bulls, played at FPU from 1965

He went on to coach at the college and NBA level, holding assistant coaching stints with the San Antonio Spurs, Philadelphia 76ers, Milwaukee Bucks, Chicago Bulls and Oklahoma City Thunder. He also served as a player personnel-scout for the Portland Trail Blazers, a special assignments scout for the Bulls, and a collegiate coach with FPU, USIU, UC Santa Barbara, Fresno State and UNLV. His presenter is his former coach and athletic director Gary Nachtigall.
