nning older Formula 5000 on a Pete 310 collecting multifamily recycling. These are replacing/have replaced the FLs with carry cans NASA used before. Right away you can tell these trucks are better suited to the task with much less spillage and a packer cycle quicker than a front loader's dump cycle.
My favorite part of this truck would have to be the way it screams during packing. They have the revs turned all the way up for our viewing pleasure... and quick cycle times. The tippers work pretty well, they look like they were transplanted from the front load carry cans. Like the rest of NASA's fleet this truck is in amazing condition. Thanks to the really chill crew for letting me film. Filmed on July 24, 2012.
