Interview with him on the Borough conditions and feelings, he says people are disgruntled. He is seen to have help from actress Diane Hart who speaks to potential voter through letter box of house (SYNC). Various shots of Liberal candidate Eric Thwaites. He is asked his policies and chats with family on door step, man shouts out 'I've been in the Labour...and what they've done, nothing!' (SYNC).
16 mm B/W positive
Note: the piece appears to be biased, showing only members of the public who have no interest and are unwilling to vote (apart from one positive for Labour) and with quotes from the candidates contradicting this - the locals are great characters.
