A whimsical story set during Prague's Mardi Gras ("Masopust" in Czech). Hedgie's friend discovers the best of Prague's three Mardi Gras parades: a neighborhood celebration in the heart of Prague, with

masks and costumes, free music and dancing, good food and drink.
The filming locations are given at the end of the video.
See http://hedgie.eu/pages/events/masopust.php
for details about the 3 organizations which sponsor parades and activities during this pre-Lenten festival and links to them.
Hedgie has been posting candid tips and prickly reviews for more than 2 decades. Our current interest is in travel, particularly for visitors to Prague and the Czech Republic. As residents, we began this when there was a distinct lack of honest information online and when most of the relatives, friends, and former classmates who came to visit asked the same questions or needed the same cautions. Visit "Travels with Hedgie" at hedgie.eu.
We continue to write critical reviews and to post links to honest information. This video illustrates one of those events not publicized in English but which is very welcoming to visitors who want to participate. Bring a mask or costume if you are coming to Prague at Mardi Gras (Masopust)!
If you speak Czech, watch the Czech-language version of our video.
