el Nevegal, it was one of the fastest Closed Cars overall on the event up until an unfortunate Crash on the last Run.
Powered by a 1.4L Suzuki Hayabusa engine producing 233Hp/11.200Rpm, it benefits from a super low overall weight of 552Kg thanks to its construction. Starting from the body of a FIAT x1 /9, it sees its chassis vastly spaceframed and featuring an integrated roll bar all entirely welded to the bodywork, which is now entirely built out of Carbon fiber. All this then connects to the wheels through Front and rear overlapping four-sided suspensions with push rod system, much like Formula and sport Prototype Race Cars.
To this we can add bespoke Polini motorsport shock absorbers, Tar Ox 6 pumping front brakes, motorcycle-based Brembo rear brakes, Vac Robotic compressed air assisted shifting system, 8-inch front and 11-inch rear wheels and a 6-speed Chain transmission with self-locking differential built in-house by Polini Motorsport.
A machine we hope to see back again in action after its rebuild to fully demonstrate its potential...
