Pansawan is the FIRST First Nation owned and operated business offering First Nations food, authentic Canadian food to the world in the form of Pansawan Bison Dry Meat. Dry Meat is a traditional delicacy in the Indigenous Peoples of Canada and North America. It is made from thin-sliced, lean Bison meat that is naturally wood smoked. The methods have been passed down for thousands of years, since time immemorial. Ian Gladue learned from his mother Jacqueline Masuzumi and aunt Pauline Masuzumi (Dene from Fort Good Hope, NWT) and his grandmother.
Pansawan Dry Meat is used to make Pemmican which is set to be the next product available soon.
