Really great arcade conversion

that is actually superior to the original. A major contributor to this fact is Barry Leitch who really showed the guys at Tecmo how sound and music can be improved. The only gripe I have with this game is the sprite flickering that occurs mostly with your but more importantly the enemy's shots. On some stages it occasionaly gets very hard to see if there is a shot coming your way or not. But after a while you know about this and can act accordingly - avoiding problematic areas of the screen whenever possible. With hardware like the NES or Master Systems these problems were present in most games so it's just a minor complaint and probably the only one that can be filed about this game at all.
