nd produced a deafening roar. It was also surrounded by VORTEX chase crews. Early in its life cycle, the tornado was measured moving north at 60 mph, but It became stationary during the last last 20 minutes of its life a few miles northwest of Allison. This segment was taken from the southwest side of Allison about 1/3rd of a mile (~1/2 km) from the outer edge of the vortex (at our closest point).
