pendent on how much money your video generates or the financial condition of a company, up to 42,000 dollars. It seems like the FTC won't be fining people at all, or at least not nearly as much as well all originally thought. Let me know what you guys think about this situation in the comments below.
►Note: I am aware that youtubers themselves can mark videos as made for kids themselves, but even if that was the case, inappropriate videos have still been mislabeled as made for kids. According to COPPA's rules, that would mean that the youtuber should be fined a certain amount. However, youtube is still at fault in this situation because their automated systems should have reviewed this video and reversed the youtuber's decision to mark it as made for kids.
