d ). On the television screen was a 3-D Mario & Wario head that moved around the screen and spoke to the crowd. This system was called Mario In Real-Time, or MIRT for short. Martinet would act out the character facial moves with a motion capture rig to Martinet's face. FUN FACT: 3 years prior to this clip - voice actor / comedian Charles Martinet would be introduced into homes of Nintendo fans across the globe in a game called SUPER MARIO 64 :)
