mpositions for Player Piano were influenced by the genius Studies for Player Piano of Conlon Nancarrow. The composers James Tenney, György Ligeti, Michael Denhoff, Steffen Schleiermacher, Tom Johnson, Wolfgang Heisig, Francis Bowdery, Krzysztof Meyer, Gerhard Stäbler, Daniele Lombardi, Kiyoshi Furukawa, Adriana Hölszky, Bernhard Lang and also the supervirtuoso Marc-André Hamelin -- they all used the superhuman possibilities of the Player Piano.
