St. Urho´s Day is a annual tradition celebrated among Finnish-Americans and Finnish-Canadians. It started out in the 1950´s.
The invented story of St. Urho says that he saved Finnish grape crops by driving away all the grasshoppers.
The tradition is a kind of Finnish version of the Irish´s St. Patrick´s Day and is celebrated approximately same time every year.
This is how St. Urho was celebrated in Thunder Bay, Canada, on March 20th 2010.
