hael Shipley is a television producer and writer, best known for My Name Is Earl (2005), American Dad! (2005) and Last Man Standing (2011), on which he's currently an executive producer for the popular Tim Allen show. He's been a producer or executive producer on 10 series, as well as having been a writer on nearly twice that number of shows. Michael's an amateur photographer and musician/songwriter. He grew up in Santa Cruz, California and graduated with a BA in literature from the University of California at Santa Cruz.
