den, an artist living and working in Brooklyn, brings together 40 contemporary artists to reflect on their own personal processes for living life and creating art. Sharon will moderate a panel examining the questions of how artists choose to live their lives and stay true to their creative impulses, featuring some of the contributors.
Joining Sharon for the evening are, from left to right Will Cotton, who is represented by Mary Boone Gallery, and has work in collections of the National Portrait Gallery and Smithsonian American Art Museum; Julie Heffernan, who is a Professor of Fine Arts at Montclair State University in New Jersey and whose work has been published and reviewed in major newspapers and periodicals including The New York Times, The New Yorker, and Artforum; Erik Hanson, who works in New York City and has exhibited his art worldwide, including at Center Cultural Rojas in Buenos Aires and MoMA/PS1 in New York City; and Josh Rosner, author of Reckless Endangerment and Managing Director at independent research consultancy Graham Fisher & Co.
