lor’s & Master’s education at the age of 20. When she finished her Ph.D in 2016, Shinji was just 25 years old. While pursuing her electrical engineering from Stanford, Shinji spearheaded great revolutionary work that was at the cusp of engineering & medicine. Following this through her Ph.D., Shinji centred on training computers to scan medical images minutely and spotting anomalous patterns, thus drastically improving the accuracy of medical diagnosis. Shinji has already developed a technique which helps diagnose knee osteoarthritis, up to three years before symptoms even start manifesting, from seemingly normal knee MRIs.
