or Z-93)and had previously been known as 93 WJAI "The Music of Your Life" with a "Beautiful Music" format. The first five songs broadcast on Z-93, kicking of 10,093 songs in a row, were Kenny Loggins "Footloose", Shannon "Let The Music Play", "Weird Al" Yankovic "Eat It", .38 Special "Caught Up In You", and Phil Collins "Against All Odds". New Program Director/Morning Host John King was the first "Zeejay".
