Ben’s talk introduces us to a whole new way of understanding and appreciating diversity in the natural world with music composed entirely from the sounds of wildlife to create an unprecedented synthesis of human and animal vocal music.
Ben is a passionate birder and field ornithologist who has chased birds all over the world, most recently developing a journalistic focus on stories about the intersection of nature and popular culture. He is also a professional beatboxer who has competed nationally while documenting the beatbox world as a writer and videographer.
