I noticed this video wasn't uploaded, so I decided to upload it myself. Gary Albright was a legend in Japan and one of the top gaijins in AJPW, main-eventing there from 1995 up to December 1999. While
...
he didn't wrestle much in the United States, he represented the Anoa'i family and carried their legacy in Japan, having been married to Monica Anoaʻi very early on in his career in the late 80s.
He was much loved in the family, and the Anoa'is considered Gary one of their own.
Gary would sadly pass away from a heart attack on January 7, 2000, while he was taking a wrestling break. Not sure how true it was, but I recall after his last AJPW appearance on December 3rd, 1999, there were rumors that The Rock and Rikishi wanted to help give him a spot in the WWF. However, I think he was one of those guys that prefered staying in AJPW rather than WWF.
Much like me, when he was alive Gary was also a big believer in charity, and I managed to find his old website in the Wayback Machine:

To me, Gary Albright was the "mayor of Suplex City" and had the "I'm related to The Rock" aura (😉) years before everyone else did. If you haven't seen his stuff, I highly recommend watching these AJPW playlists. He appeared on the show almost every episode, often teaming with "Dr. Death" Steve Williams by the team name T.O.P. (Triangle of Power). This time period in Japanese wrestling history I like calling the "Japanese Attitude Era", which AJPW really was at the time:
