ever there was a slight problem as the wagons first needed to be moved to Victoria from NSW, a state which doesn't operate broad gauge tracks. A simple solution was devised - just load the broad gauge wagons onto the standard gauge wagons!
Unexpected problems with the trains motive power meant it was well after nightfall when the train arrived at my filming location, however the noisy throbbing of an unexpected CFCLA GL class locomotive leading a failed Cootes/Greentrains 80 class locomotive, along with the very unusual load of container wagons made it worth the effort. .
