Some versions of the game has been purposely excluded from this video such as Game Boy Color and PSP versions as they can be considered different games.
The following versions have been excluded as well because they are emulations of Arcade or NES.
- Windows (2004) under the label XPLOSIV: Based on Arcade version.
- Nintendo 3DS (2013): Based on Famicom Disk System version.
- PlayStation 4 (2016): Based on Arcade version.
- Wii (2007): Based on NES Version.
- Wii U (2014): Based on NES Version.
Although the game Bubble Bobble Double Shot (2007) is a different game on the series, core mechanics are pretty similar to the original and has been included as a bonus gameplay.
