Shreve is part of an ongoing lawsuit in the Ontario Superior Court of Justice alleging negligence, assault and battery for allegedly cutting another wrestler with an unsanitary razor blade without permission during a 2007 match. The wrestler subsequently found out he was Hepatitis C positive.
One of the main ways the potentially deadly Hepatitis C virus is passed is through direct blood to blood contact through the sharing of razor blades.
