sting was released, & ''Spoon'' is slated to be included, as well as ''Flyin' Low'', another new song introduced during the 2012 tour. The album version of ''Spoon'' has the late, talented Bert Jansch contributing guitar. This 2012-04-06 Mystic Theater, Petaluma CA show was the first show of their long-awaited 2012 come back tour. The audience recording this comes from is one of the best audience recordings I've heard of Mazzy from 2012 (aside for some too- talkative audience members). There are recordings findable of professionally recorded video & audio livestreams of Mazzy Star from big outdoor festivals of 2012: Coachella, & Primavera. As enjoyable as those are, it seems Hope's singing's discernibly better at many of the 2012 indoor hall shows they played, including this Mystic Theater one. At the big outdoor fests Hope seems to sing off-key more often (is it from extra stage fright of facing huge audiences & squads of livestream cameramen shooting the band, maybe?). The slideshow's onstage pics come from various 2012 Mazzy shows. Unfortunately, no stage pics here are actually from the Mystic Theater show.
