After 17 years of practicing general internal medicine at the Massachusetts General Hospital with a busy outpatient and inpatient practice that allowed to be with each person for some minutes, she dedicated herself to research on ways to prevent diabetes and also loss weight treatments to confirm that illnesses are not just about the symptoms control.
After that she also researched on how integrative medicine might influence the primary care practice.
Not long after she becomes the Founder of the Collaborative Medicine Working group and finally since 2013 she leads the International Integrators organization that supports various health related causes in Mallorca and of course she keeps her own practice called Odyssey Journey in where she decides to dedicate up to 2hours per each patient to be listened to.
