Russia. The cellphone footage shows the bear running from Ural trucks, before it gets run over and squashed. It survives, but one of the men then mercilessly beats it to death with a crowbar. Reaction to footage of the assault was split among Russian netizens, reported the Siberian times. Some said the killing was justified because the bear could have attacked people, others suggest the men provoked the creature.
