tte Nielsen for the sword and sorcery film Red Sonja, based on the Marvel Comics character that first appeared in a 1973 issue of Conan the Barbarian. The film was not well received and even Schwarzenegger himself called the film the worst he has ever made. But this is Hollywood and everyone loves a comeback, so that hasn't stopped plans for a possible remake. Director Robert Rodriguez planned to revive the character back in 2008 in a new film starring Rose McGowan as the titular character, but that film was eventually scrapped. Plans for a remake once again surfaced a couple years later with director Simon West attached to helm the project with hot young stars Megan Fox and Amber Heard among those rumored to be taking over the role. We caught up with West at the premiere for his new movie The Expendables 2 and asked him the status of the film. Check out what he had to say!
