Konashenkov reported on Tuesday that Russian forces conducted a massive strike with high-precision weapons against key Ukrainian military-industrial sites over the past day.
A Ukrainian electronic warfare and air defense command post were destroyed in the operation in Donetsk, Konashenkov said.
The Russian Defense Ministry also said on Tuesday that the Russian air forces intercepted and destroyed a Ukrainian drone over the territory of the Belgorod Region, which caused no casualty or property loss.
