Malaysian political parties' offices hit by coronavirus threats

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – A Reddit account u/mr-xiaopei had posted on /r/tellreddit subreddit a claim of responsibility that a group of individuals were involved in intentionally contaminating Malaysia's United Malays National Organisation's (UMNO) and Malaysian Islamic Party's (PAS) headquarters with coronavirus COVID-19 in the capital city of Kuala Lumpur.

According to the reddit post signed by "黎晓培" and "Coltsfan", aerosols and 'door-knob wiping' were the methods used in their contamination of the concerning places with COVID-19.

Furthermore in their subsequent postings including tweets issued from a hacked account, they had also claimed that PAS party's office were contaminated presumably much in the same way as they did with UMNO.

Names mentioned in the flurry of posts with respect to the possible bioterrorist activity's involvements were "biowolfjp", "CM Ang" and "chi.keat", in addition to the signed names of "黎晓培" and "Coltsfan".

The RAPID KL public transport company had implied that the police had been notified immediately as they were tagged in the bioterrorists' tweets while the knowledge of the threats itself was made known by members of the Malaysian subreddit. Furthermore the Putra, Bank Negara dan Sentul train stations which are all operated by the Malayan Railways Limited (known locally as KTM - Keretapi Tanah Melayu) were mentioned as part of a warning to the former on Twitter.
