It's a mixture of experience and new blood for this Sunday's game against @taranakirugbynz. Jacob Payne and Hayden Michaels both look set to make their debut for Southland. Both Payne and Michaels played for the Blues Premier club side in 2021. Payne (21) is a former SBHS 1st XV and Blues Junior player. Michaels (19) played junior rugby in Wyndham before playing is teenage rugby for Gore High and Pioneer. Both Payne and Michaels are former Highlanders Secondary School players. This is the SIT Zero Fees Southland Stags final game of pool play before heading back up to Taranaki next weekend for the Championship Semi Final, the sides first playoff game since 2014! #SouthlandProud
