SIT Zero Fees Southland Stags Squad to take on Canterbury The lads return to the NPC field after a six week hiatus. The squad sees the return of Woodlands’ Matt Whaanga and Marty McKenzie from injury. Rory van Vugt returns to the number 11 jersey in his first game back in NZ following his stint in Major League Rugby in the USA. Former Wyndham local Grayson Knapp is starting in the number 6 jersey and Pirates- Old Boys’ Dustin Coveney is looking to run off the bench at flanker. The game will be played under closed gates due to covid level 2. Rugby Southland are contacting the 2021 Season Membership Holders, Sponsors/stakeholders and Family of players directly.
