Longtime Bobcat puts pen to paper⠀ ⠀ M Alex Kao signs for 2021 NISA season⠀ ⠀ Kao isn't a new face for people who have been following the Bobcats for a while. He's been in Maryland for a few years, making it his home. Playing a big role in our UPSL National Championship season as well as coaching our 2005 Boys team, he is an ever present face at the club.⠀ ⠀ Alex started his playing career at Red Star 94 in Paris, France from 2007 to 2009 before moving to Paris FC (@parisfc) from 2009 to 2013 where he was a part of an undefeated U17 team as well as where he captained the U19 team to a French Cup (Coup Gambardella) Final Four appearance against Bordeaux.⠀ ⠀ He then came to the US where he lead Louisburg College (@louisburgcollegemenssoccer) as a team captain to the first (and still only) NJCAA National Title in 2015, where he earned All-Region and All-American honors. He then transferred to UConn (@uconnmsoc), playing there from 2016 to 2017.⠀ ⠀ After his college career, he played for the Philadelphia Fury from 2018 - 2019, and has been with the Bobcats ever since.⠀ ⠀ Please join us in welcoming Alex to the club!⠀ ⠀ *pending NISA and USSF approval⠀ ⠀ #ForAll
