LEG 7: LOVE this pic of the shotgun start at Darwin airport. All the teams left at the same time, and the previous race standings were thrown out the window. We found out we had a new addition to the race - the STOWAWAYS. This was a surprise, as this has NEVER happened on The Amazing Race before. My first reaction was, well we lost all the other all girl teams, so I'm happy if we have to have another team at least it's another all female team. After all, we are here to show the girls of Aus not to let anyone underestimate you and that you can do anything 💪💪💪 What do you think about the Stowaways? Let me know in the comments. We continued on to a welcome to Larrakia country, a smoke and saltwater ceremony with @jasminandjerome from last season!! 🥰 (2nd photo). Carrying the crocs was so cool! Then we had a DETOUR! Treat it, or Eat it. I immediately chose Treat it - being a PT I have extensive first aid training and thought I'd be pretty good at that. Unfortunately we wasted about 40 mins looking for this detour and couldn't find it. So we ended up changing detours and going to the Laksa challenge. I'm pretty good at cooking but have never cooked laksa before. It really did take us 8 attempts, and Amanda was upset as we had already wasted so much time and felt like we could be there forever. #amazingraceau #northernterritory #darwin #travel #airport #race
