Pilawe Patrick Pato signs for Maryland Bobcats FC first professional season in NISA⠀

Adding to our already Maryland-heavy roster is another Maryland product out of Silver Spring, MD, Pato played his High School soccer for Watkins Mill earning First-Team All-Metro honors from The Washington Post and was the Montgomery Gazette Player-of-the-Year in 2011. Pato was an All-State selection in both 2010 and 2011captaining the team during Watkins’ Mill first-ever 3A championship.⠀

Another player with @umbclife/@umbcmenssoccer ties, Pato played for the Retrievers from 2012 - 2015, being named to the America East Conference All-Rookie squad in 2012. During his time there, he was a part of 3 America East Championship teams as well as was a part of the team that made the NCAA Final Four in 2014.⠀

After college, Pato played with the Philadelphia Fury from 2017 - 2018 before joining the Bobcats in 2019 where he's been a staple on the roster ever since. A calming presence in the midfield, Pato will give the squad composed passing and quick transition play in the midfield.⠀
