Veteran help incoming 🎯 ⠀ ⠀ Maryland Bobcats FC sign M/F Levi Houapeu to first professional roster⠀ ⠀ Yet another Maryland product (Germantown, MD), Houapeu attended @umbclife/@umbcmenssoccer between 2007 and 2010 where he was the 2009 ECAC Men’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Year and America East Midfielder of the Year. He also won the national scoring title, leading NCAA Division I with 2.15 points per game and being UMBC’s first national leader in scoring in men’s soccer. An ECAC First-Team All-Star, an NSCAA Second-Team All-Northeast Region honoree and a Second Team selection by Goal.com on their Teams of the Year, he also won UMBC’s Male Athlete of the Year.⠀ ⠀ During his time in college, he played with powerhouse @readingunited in 2010.⠀ ⠀ After college, Houapeu was drafted in the third round (41st overall) of the 2011 MLS SuperDraft by @philaunion.
