When I first met @nadia_alexander I was amazed by the existence of someone so wholly herself. Her honesty, her bravery, her talent, her wacky sense of humor, her commitment to being authentic was something I had rarely seen. I had no idea at the time that this outlook would extend to the way she would come to love me — unconditionally, without limits or judgement. It was, and is, the kind of love that frees you from insecurity and fear, and allows you to just...be. She makes me feel at home no matter where we are in the world, and she never questions the fictional worlds I build to live in as an artist—instead, she moves in too, and helps me decorate. Today marks 5 years since our very first date. Happy anniversary to my beautiful and luminous baby — I’m so lucky to bask in your light. ☀️❤️🐨
