It’s with a lot of sadness that I’m announcing the end of my 10-year ice dance partnership with Ian. After Junior Worlds, I met up with the rest of my senior class on our senior trip, touring old Jewish quarters and Concentration Camps throughout Europe. After the trip, I returned home and went back to training to discover that everything had changed. That night, in an email, I learned that the partnership was over. No discussion whatsoever. I learned that while I was away, the decision had been made and Ian had started skating with a new partner. While I am shocked by this, I accept their decision to end our partnership. Due to this abrupt end, I have decided to take a step back from skating for a while to process everything that has happened, and think about what I want for my future. I want to thank everyone who has been so kind and supportive throughout my 10 year skating journey, and acknowledge all of the amazing friendships I have made around the world. I wish them the best of luck and hope to stay in touch! When one door closes, another one opens. Stay tuned for my future adventures! ❤️
