_ 349 days since my last game 290 days since surgery #1 84 days since surgery #2 (but who’s counting? 🤔) Many more days til I’m back, but today it was fun afff to do something more than crutch/crawl/boot/cane/walk/etc.💃🏼 • I had planned to be back on the pitch and joining the NC Courage in April. Unfortunately, as I transitioned to the field for my final steps of rehab, I realized my ankle wasn’t able to sustain playing. In short, I discovered that some things went overlooked on the first try and a 2nd surgery was needed. • Grateful for my fam, friends, PTs, docs, a supportive crew at the Courage, and a badass @thenccourage team to inspire me. I’m coming for you, 2019! 😈
