Recently I was asked where I was now playing. Although I’ve already made the decision to retire from professional soccer I have yet to share it with everyone. I’ve been blessed with the opportunity to play a sport that I have a deep passion for. Playing alongside amazing people that have given me unforgettable memories like winning the MLS Cup with Real Salt Lake and representing the US in the World Cup has been inspiring. Sharing the field with some of the best athletes in the world has truly been an honor and a privilege. To the organizations that took a chance on me and allowed me to share this God given talent, I’m forever grateful. None of this would have been possible without the support of my family and friends. Finally, to the fans who bring the game to life and make all of the hard work worth it, you have really made this a special journey and there aren’t enough words to show my gratitude. I’m excited to embark on this new chapter of my life for which soccer will always have a place. God Bless
