Hello! My orchestral greatest hits album is coming on a treat. The mixes from Rak of Murder on the Dancefloor, Catch You, Groovejet and Heartbreak sound lush and this is before we add timpani and the choir. I have a name for the album too. It's called… The Song Diaries. You can pre-order it from sophieellisbextor.net (big thanks to all of you who already have!). I am looking forward to going back to Rak in a couple of weeks to (deep breath) record ALL the other songs in 4 days. It’ll be a little intense but lots of fun. I actually recorded some vocals for my first ever single (I got the wherewithal) back in 1997 with theaudience in the same room we’ve been recording in. Serendipity! I’m having so much fun with this project. It’s overblown and glorious. What a way to start 2018. Thinking of doing a limited run of instrumental versions. What do you think? Might not want my singing over all that lovely playing...?! Xxxx
