As the 2019-2020 season is officially behind us, Quinn has made the decision to retire from competitive skating. While I will miss standing side by side with him everyday, I am confident that no matter where his road takes him next, he will be met with much success. ⠀
⠀
As I continue on my path to pursue my dreams and goals in the competitive world of figure skating, I take every single moment we shared over the years along with me. All of the ups and downs we experienced together have shaped me into the person I am today, and I am determined to continue my growth as a skater, competitor, and as a young woman. This new beginning in my skating career rests on a foundation of an ever burning passion to reach new heights.⠀
⠀
To U.S. Figure Skating, our coaches, family, friends—to everyone who has followed our journey over the last decade and a half—thank you. Quinn and I could never have accomplished what we did without your support. You have been part of our team, and we are grateful. The hope you will remain supportive and stand by me as I continue skating brings me great comfort. ⠀
⠀
And to Quinn: Words cannot describe our relationship, our highs and our lows, our great successes, and the way we’ve supported each other through the majority of our lives. Thank you for letting me hold your hand for the past 15 years.❤
