Thank you Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) for inviting me to be part of your Law School Admissions Selection Panel for the 2nd year running! As many of you are aware, SUSS is the former SIM University (UniSIM) and also home to our 3rd law school (after the ones in NUS and SMU). It's a "specialist" law school where the focus of its curriculum is in the areas of family and criminal law. The selection process is highly stringent so that we can find and produce the next generation of lawyers who will go on to practise passionately in these two areas. ❤️ For those of you who are contemplating to apply or had been given an interview slot this year, please PREPARE to the fullest as you will be facing a panel of seasoned specialist legal practitioners, social workers, academics, and/or community leaders. Be well-prepped or be ready to be cross-examined! Any signs of wayang, smokescreen or delusions of grandeur will be "detected and corrected" immediately!
