For some strange reasons, I received a last minute request last Friday. It's to appear for a TV interview on Channel News Asia's Prime Time Asia at 7pm! Then, the Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) announced that they'll be introducing the "Appropriate Adults" (AA) scheme for juvenile accused persons, and I was asked to give my professional take on the topic. Though it's so last minute, I agreed. Nothing altruistic or opportunistic really. I simply just needed a distraction - better to be in a live studio having cold feet than be in a bar during "happy hour" having cold turkey! After saying yes, I was asked if I would be able to appear again on Singapore Tonight at 10pm on the very same night!
